Your first prompt
Let’s get started creating your first prompt with Prompt Foundry!

Create account
If you haven’t done so yet, please create an account and set up your organization.

New prompt
Create your first prompt by navigating to the “Prompts” page and clicking “New Prompt” in the upper right corner.

Choose Model
Choose the model you want to use for your prompt.

System Message
Input a system message for your prompt.

Add Provider API key
gpt-4o-mini is free to use. However, if you want to use the playground or run evaluations with larger models, you will need to add a provider API key.

Try it out
Test your prompt using our playground by inputting a user message and clicking “Send”.
Next, we’ll guide you through creating an evaluation for your prompt.
